Woven Paper Baskets

Service Description

Discover the world of basketry! Join us and learn the basics of basket weaving with paper. We welcome beginners as well as those continuing from our January workshop. Beginners will start by learning basic plaited paper basketry including rim finishes. Students can choose from an array of colored paper and/or painted paper. As the workshop progresses, students will have the opportunity to start and design a second basket with the same technique or learn a variation of the weave. Returning students can pick up where they left off and/or learn other paper basket techniques including diagonal plaiting and other variations. The workshop is limited to 8 people.
